Christian Higher EducationOn November 30, Crossway released Christian Higher Education: Faith, Teaching, and Learning in the Evangelical Tradition. This collection of 27 essays is co-edited by David S. Dockery and Christopher W. Morgan. Dockery has served as president of Union University in Jackson, TN, and Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL. The essays are grouped into three parts: The Theological Shape of Christian Higher Education in the Evangelical Tradition; Faith, Teaching, and Learning in the Evangelical Tradition; and Applications and Implications for the Campus, the Church, the Marketplace, and the World. Many of the contributors work at Trinity International University. The book is intended for administrators, board members, faculty, staff, church leaders, students, parents, and donors to help them understand the role that Christian higher education plays in the church, culture, and society. The 576-page hardcover is for sale on Amazon for $32.93 and in Kindle version for $31.28.
