Higher Ed Resource of the Week: Making Sense of the College Curriculum

Last summer, Rutgers University Press released Making Sense of the College Curriculum: Faculty Stories of Change, Conflict, and Accommodation by Robert Zemsky, Gregory R. Wegner, and Ann J. Duffield. Zemsky has authored and co-authored many notable books on higher education reform, and he and his co-authors have worked together at the Institute for Research on Higher Education and on other task forces. For this study, they focused on 11 institutions that had undertaken significant curricular change. The book presents the results of 187 recorded faculty conversations amounting to 7,200 typed pages. The 173-page book is available for $15.95 on Amazon.
